Recognized as a public utility on May 9, 2006, the Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé works to preserve and make available to the public the historical heritage of Pathé. The Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé, which brings together all of Pathé’s non-film collections since its creation in 1896, is a research centre for historians, teachers and students, as well as all those interested in cinema. Through her activity, she works to promote the history of cinema through the history of Pathé.

The Foundation participates in the European Museum Night and offers on this occasion a free, no-reservation night opening of its exhibition "Le Chantier invisible". Behind the scenes of Jean-Jacques Annaud’s films.
The Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé Foundation pushes the doors of the film sets of a master of the seventh art through an unprecedented immersion in the backstage of its greatest masterpieces. The invisible site reveals the manufacturing secrets of Jean-Jacques Annaud’s films. From his monumental frescoes to his meticulous reconstructions and extreme technical challenges, the exhibition is a fascinating tribute to this director without borders who reveals, for the first time, the behind-the-scenes of his sets and his greatest secrets.
