Thomas Goumarre, artist, and Adriano Duarte, landscape designer, have designed together the Crassiers' Trail, a vast route linking the visible vestiges of the mining period in Saint-Étienne. Between crassiers, workers' gardens and worker’s cities, this walk proposes to develop modes of attention to the landscape through the crossed narratives of inhabitants, artists and researchers.
Course of about 5km (loop – return to the starting point). Plan walking equipment: suitable shoes, rainwear, water.
Starting point: Musée d'art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole - Rue Fernand Léger, 42270 Saint-Priest-en-Jarez
