Thomas Goumarre, artist, and Adriano Duarte, landscape designer, have designed together the Crassiers' Trail, a vast route linking the visible vestiges of the mining period in Saint-Étienne. Between crassiers, workers' gardens and worker’s cities, this walk proposes to develop modes of attention to the landscape through the crossed narratives of inhabitants, artists and researchers.
Course of about 5km (loop – return to the starting point). Plan walking equipment: suitable shoes, rainwear, water.

Balladur concert

Balladur invites you to the museum for a pop, electric and 100% festive evening! Here everything is performance: at the moment when the duo joyfully handles their drum machines, guitars and other synths, the audience surrounds them for a dance punctuated by multiple and improbable sounds, from dub to post-punk, from dance music to Italian disco. Cultivate one’s garden

An active visit to discover the workers' garden designed by the artist Emmanuel Louisgrand for the museum. Young and old alike can stroll through the installation and participate in the work by populating the vegetable garden with vegetables and other objects molded in plaster and painted.

Performances around "The House of Dust"

The event 'L'Horizon d'une prairie' is an opportunity to reactivate The House of Dust on the forecourt of the museum. This emblematic work by Alison Knowles becomes a space for experimentation for the Night of museums. The artist Émilie Perotto (research group Spacetelling – GRAD Esadse) gives voice to her sculpture Cœur Chaud Bois d'Aquitaine with students from the École supérieure d'art et design de Saint-Étienne (Esadse), and students from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Saint-Étienne (ENSASE) perform performances by Alison Knowles.
