Visits & discoveries

From 4 p.m. until closing: free access to the permanent collections and the temporary exhibition Au fil du trait. Flash visits (until 8 p.m.): Short 15-minute tours to learn more about the museum and its works, without reservation. Guided tours of the exhibition: 4 pm and 5 pm / 45 minutes to go back through the millennia and dive into the heart of the exhibition Au fil du trait | L'art magdalénien au Saut-du-Perron.

Nicolas Ticot (XLR Project) invests the facade on the courtyard side with a monumental projection. The museum’s collections are transformed in real time, in a dialogue between architecture, image and electronic music.

And what if you brought prehistoric animals to life? Come and make your own thaumatrope, a small magic disc that creates the illusion of movement. By rotating your drawings, inspired by the exhibition, you will discover how our ancestors invented, well before us, the principle of the cartoon!
