La Cie Pa d'Ocell revisits the oral tradition around Heraklès and Sant Jordi, two characters honored on the monetary strikes presented in the exhibition "Myths and Legends" of the Museum of Coins and Medals Joseph Puig.
A tragic romantic encounter between the Greek hero and Pyrène, on the return journey of the tenth of his works, gives birth to the Pyrenees. After summoning the holy rider, a princess with a touch of warrior delivers herself from the dragon that wants to devour her

In 1926, Joseph Puig bequeathed his collection of coins and medals to the city of Perpignan, as well as the "Villa les Tilleuls", with the intention that this building should not receive any other purpose than that of being converted into a museum. The collection bequeathed by Joseph Puig consisted of some 30,000 coins, medals and numismatic objects. The city has enriched it and made this fund one of the most important in France: the museum now has 45,000 pieces from all eras and all countries, from the first currencies to the euro.
