How to participate in the European Night of Museums?

If you would like to participate or are already participating in the European Night of Museums, you will find on this page all useful information.

Who can participate in the European Night of Museums?

The European Night of Museums is open to all French and European museums. The places participating in the European Night of Museums are encouraged, for the occasion, to offer original, nocturnal and free entertainment.

You have already participated in the event, and you want to register!

For the French museums

Register (or log in with your account) in the calendar for your region:

Fill in the event(s) you are organizing on the regional agenda.

Once filled in, these events are then validated before publication by the general coordination of the operation.

Beware : You are responsible for the content you publish in the agenda. You must ensure that you have released the rights of the images because they can be reused by third parties.

You have never participated in the event, and you want to register!

You must first address your calls on the general coordination of the European Night of Museums (specifying the name, location and certification of your museum).

For european museums

You can register on the European Night of Museums (create an account or you already have an account).

You give the program of your event.
Your participation will be validated by the general coordination before being on line.

Material order form

Orders for posters for the 2026 European Night of Museums are no longer available.

Frequently asked questions

You can register your event directly on the Open Agenda dedicated to your region by following this link: Organizers Area.

 It is possible to register an event until the eve of the European Night of Museums 2025. However, we recommend that you do this several days in advance to ensure better visibility.

 If you do not receive the activation link or have a connection problem, contact Open Agenda support at: verif@openagenda.fr.

No, it is not possible to duplicate an event. You must re-enter it on the Open Agenda.
